Chelsea eyeing moves for Spanish starlets from Barcelona & Real Madrid

Chelsea are looking to sign several young stars from La Liga, with the club’s technical director Michael Emenalo setting up a Spanish network, according to newspaper El Mundo Deportivo.

Focusing on a handful of Barcelona starlets, Emenalo has his eyes apparently set on midfielder Sergio Roberto and is understood to have been in discussions with Pep Guardiola over the availability of the 19-year-old.

Other targets include members of the Spanish champions' youth system, with Martin Montoya, Marc Bartra and Rafa Alcantara - commonly known as Rafinha – all being evaluated by the Blues’ scout Vicente Fernandez and are all currently coming up to the end of their contracts.

Real Madrid’s 15-year-old striker Jose Pozo is also a possible target after the player is apparently ready to quit Spain. [Goal.com]
