Javier Pastore: Palermo crave Coppa Italia victory against Inter

Palermo ace Javier Pastore has warned Inter that he is out to end the season with a Inter triumph in Sunday's final at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Sicilian club beat Inter's city rivals AC Milan in the last four to make their first final since 1979, when they lost to Juventus.

After such a long wait, Pastore insists they cannot waste any more time as they are just 90 minutes away from possible glory.

"Let it be clear, Palermo want the trophy and it would be a dream come true to lift the Coppa Italia with a Rosanero jersey on my back, especially against a top side like Inter," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"The fans would go crazy with joy and I can’t even imagine the scenes."

Pastore says it's a dream to be in Rome, but he hopes that the team can believe in their ability to win the match.

"I am happy to have reached this final and it’s a dream just to be here. I can’t wait to get out there and am so happy for team-mates and fans. I hope to repay them with a win."

Palermo have qualified for the Europa League following their final berth regardless of the result tomorrow. Coach Delio Rossi has picked his squad for the game:

Goalkeepers: Benussi, Brichetto, Sirigu.

Defenders: Andelkovic, Balzaretti, Carrozzieri, Cassani, Darmian, Garcia, Goian, Munoz.

Midfielders: Acquah, Ilicic, Kasami, Kurtic, Liverani, Migliaccio, Nocerino, Pastore.

Strikers: Hernandez, Miccoli, Nappello, Pinilla.
