Galliani refutes Robinho's departure and Julio Cesar's arrival
AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has stated that the club is finished in the transfer market, and that it has received no offers for Robinho's services.
The Serie A runner-up has been widely linked with a summer clear-out, and the Brazilian forward has been touted to move back to his homeland.
However, the 67-year-old is adamant that nobody will leave San Siro, and also that there will be no further arrivals during the rest of the summer.
"Our transfer market is closed," he told the club's official website. "We are covered in all positions in terms of numbers. Robinho? There are no offers. We have five strikers, and if nobody will leave, as it is presumed, then nobody will arrive.
"I keep myself informed about everything going on in Europe, but the truth is that our transfer market is closed."
The Rossoneri's hesitance to do business this summer also rules out the potential arrival of Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar.
And although Galliani has admitted his admiration for the player, he reaffirmed his faith in the three keepers at Massimiliano Allegri's disposal.
"Julio Cesar will not be arriving, he is a great guy, a great player and a person whom I admire, but we have three goalkeepers," he said. "We have [Christian] Abbiati, [Marco] Amelia and Gabriel, a young goalkeeper who has won the Under-20 World Cup, and they will stay."
