Caceres suffers suspected knee ligament damage in Juventus friendly
During the second game of the tournament, which consists of three 45-minute matches, the Bianconeri triumphed 1-0 over AC Milan.
Reports have surfaced that Caceres has picked up knee ligament damage, but coach Antonio Conte admitted he was unaware as to the extent of the injury, but was in a position to play down a knock to Mirko Vucinic.
"Vucinic only had cramp, but Pepe had a thigh strain, and we don't know about Caceres yet," Conte commented after the match.
"It's a shame that such a wonderful tournament watched by so many people is played on a pitch that does not help football and makes injuries more likely.
"Tonight we face important sides. Despite the introduction of new faces and many absences, we are working hard so everyone can understand the concept of our football.
"I saw positive aspects, but we know that there is a long way to go and we will grow. The defence did well. Lucio has to learn to improve his movement, but is at our disposal and will be strong for our team."
