Real Madrid's Nuri Sahin: We have the best players in the world
Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin has voiced his opinion that Los Blancos have the best players in the world under contract, and has nothing but positive words for his team-mates.
The midfielder joined Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window, but has so far made only one substitute appearance in a competitive game due to injury.
Nevertheless, Sahin has shaken off his fitness problems and is raring to go ahead of Tuesday's Champions League Group D match at home versus Dinamo Zagreb.
"We have the best players in the world on this team. They're all normal guys. They may seem to come from another planet from the outset, but they all have their feet on the ground," Sahin said on the Madrid website.
"[Angel] Di Maria for example is incredible. Xabi Alonso is one of the best midfielders in the world. The coach decides how we must play. I can play with or without Xabi.
"I don't feel any pressure. I'm happy to play for this club and at this great stadium. I've had to wait for a very long time and I'm now ready to be a starter." [Goal.com]
