Milito open to Genoa return

Inter striker Diego Milito doesn’t want to rule out a return to Genoa, even if he is currently focused on Inter.

The player’s career at Giuseppe Meazza has started taking the wrong turn and he is no longer considered a first team regular.

The current situation sparked speculations that Milito could leave the club in January, with Genoa very interested in his services.

The Argentine says he is currently focused on Inter, but remains open to another return to ter.

“I know that Preziosi loves me,” Milito told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “I will always be grateful to him.

“You never know what will happen in football, but for now I’m just thinking about helping Inter win football matches.”

Milito made a name for himself in Genoa before moving to Zaragoza in 2005, but it was another spell at Marassi that helped him earn a big money move to Inter. [Soccernews.com]
