Real Madrid & Jose Mourinho crossed the line last season - Barcelona's Andres Iniesta

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has voiced his opinion that Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho crossed the line with his verbal attacks against the Spanish champions during the 2010-11 campaign.

The Portuguese tactician repeatedly stated that Barca had the support of referees and even accused Uefa of helping the Catalans reach the Champions League final after their bad-tempered semi-final clash in the competition.

"Everybody has the freedom to do with his team whatever he wants. What Mourinho does with Real Madrid is not our business. However, certain things are simply not done and he crossed the line," Iniesta said to La Sexta.

"The truth is that there were a number of very uncomfortable moments and the lines of sportsmanship were crossed more than once."

The World Cup winner then briefly discussed the possible arrival of Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas and confessed he hopes his Spanish international colleague will move to Camp Nou this summer.

"I think that it's possible that the transfer will go ahead. I hope it does. I recently spoke with him by phone and he's very calm."

Barcelona are keen to lure Fabregas back to Catalunya, but an agreement with the London club has yet to be reached for the sale of their skipper, who left the European champions to move to England as a 16-year-old in 2003.
