Barcelona's Bojan Krkic set to sign for Roma shortly - sporting director Walter Sabatini
Roma director Walter Sabatini has revealed that Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic is on the verge of completing a transfer to the Serie A club.
Bojan has been linked with a switch to Roma for the past few weeks now, since the arrival of former Barcelona B boss Luis Enrique, with the only pending issue thought to be the re-signing option Barcelona are determined to include in the deal.
Sabatini has now confirmed there are only some minor details to address before the 20-year-old can sign a contract with Roma, which could happen before Wednesday.
"The agreement with the player is total. There are some things to clear with Barcelona. It could all be done on Monday or Tuesday, I am very optimistic," he told Ona FM.
The Roma director was much more coy, though, when asked about Sporting Gijon's Jose Angel, who has also been linked with a switch to the Stadio Olimpico, saying: "He is a player of Sporting and I cannot talk about a player of another team. It is not correct."
