Olympiacos keen on Roma's David Pizarro - report

Experienced midfielder David Pizarro appears to be on his way out of Serie A side Roma this summer as Olympiacos have shown an interest in signing the playmaker, Leggo reports.

The Greek champions are keen to add some fresh blood to their ranks ahead of next season in order to be ready for Champions League football, and consider the 31-year-old to be the perfect addition to their midfield.

Pizarro started his professional career with Santiago Wanderers and also wore the jerseys of Udinese, Universidad de Chile and Inter before joining Roma in the summer of 2006.

The Chilean has since made well over 100 league appearances for the capital giants, but is now thought to be looking for a new challenge.

Aside from Olympiacos, Pizarro has also attracted the interest of several unnamed La Liga outfits.
