Allegri: AC Milan will bring in new players

Massimiliano Allegri has assured that AC Milan will add to their ranks before the end of the summer transfer campaign.

The Serie A giants have lost key players such as Thiago Silva, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alessandro Nesta and Clarence Seedorf, but Allegri is confident that the Rossoneri will bring in adequate replacements.

"The club knows very well what we need and we have talked about it. We will work with these players for now, and the transfer market will bring new players from now until August 31," Allegri was quoted as saying on the club's official website.

The Milan coach then went on to discuss his side's performances at Saturday's Trofeo TIM, where they lost 1-0 to Juventus and 2-1 versus Inter.

"The lads played two good matches; we made a few mistakes that led to the goals. We played better in the second match in terms of our technique, and I am pleased as it was only our second outing.

"We had a lot of young players but those who played at the Euros will be back now."

Inter won the Trofeo TIM after recording victories over both Juventus and Milan in the traditional pre-season tournament on Saturday.
