Adrian Lopez Happy With Atletico Madrid
Striker Adrian Lopez confirmed she was happy with Atletico Madrid and away from the transfer speculation by saying his focus now is on the Olympics.
Golden Boot award winner as Spain won the Euro U-21 championship last summer's entry in the team La Roja in London and he became one of the duo's transfer targets London team, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.
However, Adrian said he did not know of any rumors as well as expressing loyalty to the Rojiblancos.
"I am very pleased with Atletico and as far as I know, the only thing that is happening is negotiating a contract extension. Others do not know," he told Europa Press.
"My contract with Atleti still leaves three years. Now I just want to focus on the national team and reluctant to talk about transfer rumors."
Adrian joined from Deportivo la Coruna Atletico last summer and scored 18 goals in his first season at the Vicente Calderon helped the team lift the trophy as well as the Europa League.
